2000 people found in one Indiana county also in Florida
"The Journal Gazette compared the list of 222,000 active registered voters in Allen County with the list of more than 12 million registered voters in Florida and found that 2,172 registrations have the same first and last names, middle names or initials and the same birth dates and are listed as active, eligible voters in both places."
Battle in Swing States
The significance of this is that both Indiana and Florida are swing states. Both states have had ballot law issues go before the United States Supreme Court. Florida is the home of the famous 2000 presidential election debacle that ended in the case of Bush v. Gore. More recently Florida was subject to a supreme court ruling that stated that their law requiring state issued identification to vote, was constitutional. These factors contribute to the significance of this finding.
