The question on the ballot:

Shall the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 67 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Alabaster Township, Iosco County, be increased by up to 1. mills ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for the period of 2012 through 2016 inclusive for the purpose of suppression and control of the mosquitoes in Alabaster Township; and shall the township levy such millage for said purpose, thereby, raising in the first year an estimated $50,133?[3]
