Alexandria Village Levy Additions, 3 (March 2012)

Three Alexandria Village Levy Addition measures were on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the village of Alexandria which is in Licking County.

All three measures were defeated

The first measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for the village Water Division bond repayment costs.

Measure 1: An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Alexandria, Licking Co., OH, for the purpose of providing for the retirement of bond issues and notes of indebtedness of the Village Division of Water, at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.

Measure 2: An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Alexandria, Licking Co., OH, for the purpose of Parks and Recreation, at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.

Measure 3: An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Alexandria, Licking Co., OH, for the purpose of current operating expenses of the Village Division of Streets, at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
