Allen Park City Levy Increase Proposal (November 2012)
The first proposal amended the Allen Park City Charter to authorize the City to levy an additional tax of 4 mills ($4 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 2 years in order to fund the operations of the City. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $2,997,695.
The second proposal amended the Allen Park City Charter to require voter approval of all bond issues that would be backed in whole or part by the taxing power of the city.
