An Amanda-Clearcreek School District Income Tax Increase measure was on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the Amanda-Clearcreek school district area which is in Fairfield County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1,772 (58.46%)Approveda
  • NO 1,259 (41.54%)[1]

This was the second attempt by the school district to gain approval of an income tax increase for the district. The measure will increase the local income taxes by 1.5 percent which would add around $1.9 million a year to the district's budget. School officials noted that cuts would still likely occur even after this was approved, depending on how much state funding was received. What will be cut though is still being looked at.[2]
