Amanda Grosserode is a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 16. She was first elected to the chamber in 2010.


Grosserode earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Wayne State College.[1]

Grosserode led an anti-stimulus demonstration against Democratic Rep. Dennis Moore in Overland Park, Kansas on Saturday, February 21, 2009. 750 people attended the protest.[2]

Grosserode, a home-schooling mom, said she was "fed up" with the spending in Washington. "My husband and I were feeling frustrated that the stimulus had passed with very little debate and no one had read it. I said, 'We need to do something'."[3]

Grosserode won election in the 2012 election for Kansas House of Representatives District 16. She ran unopposed in the August 7 primary and ran unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5][6]
