Anastasia A. Pittman (b. July 19, 1970) is a Democratic member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 99. She was first elected to the chamber in 2006.

She is currently a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 48 of the Oklahoma State Senate.

Biography

Pittman earned her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 and her master's degree in Education and Behavioral Science from Langston University in 2002. Her professional experience includes working as a media assistant, legislative assistant and clerk in the Oklahoma State Senate from 1999 to 2006, as a Spanish instructor; and as a radio talk show host.[1]

Elections for the office of Oklahoma State Senate will take place in 2014. A primary election took place June 24, 2014. The general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 11, 2014. Anastasia Pittman defeated Christine Byrd in the Democratic primary, while Duane Crumbacher was unopposed in the Republican primary. Pittman and Crumbacher will face off in the general election.[2][3]
