Anna Border Sheppard is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 9. She was first appointed to the chamber on June 21, 2011, when she was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the death of her husband, Larry Border.

Elections for the office of West Virginia House of Delegates will take place in 2014. A primary election took place May 13, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. Jim Marion was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Anna Border was unopposed in the Republican primary. Marion will face Border in the general election.[1]
