The Arizona Merit System for Administrative Personnel Amendment, also known as Proposition 4, was on the September 12, 1950 ballot in Arizona as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have mandated a merit system for the selection, retention, dismissal and compensation of administrative personnel.[1]
