The Arizona Public Employees' Retirement Fund Act, also known as Proposition 8, was on the November 2, 1948 ballot in Arizona as an initiated state statute, where it was approved. The measure established a Public Employees’ Retirement Fund to provide retirement, disability, death and withdrawal benefits for state employees.[1]
