The Arizona State Land Leasing for Oil and Gas Exploration and Exploitation Amendment, also known as Proposition 5, was on the September 12, 1950 ballot in Arizona as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure permitted the leasing of public lands for oil and gas exploration and exploitation.[1]
