Arnold Simpson
Arnold Simpson (b. April 26, 1952) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 65 from 1995 to 2018. He served as city manager for the City of Covington from 1986 to 1990, assistant city manager from 1984 to 1986, and as assistant city solicitor from 1980 to 1984.[1]
Biography
When he served in the state House, Simpson's professional experience included working as an attorney with his own firm, the Law Office of Arnold R. Simpson, and as a staff attorney to Judge Donald Wintersheimer, Kentucky Court of Appeals from 1978 to 1980.

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Arnold R. Simpson ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[5][6][7]
2012
Simpson won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 65. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[8][9]
2010
Simpson won re-election to the 65th District Seat in the November 2 election. Simpson was unopposed, and according to official results, received a total of 5,922 votes.[10]
Simpson ran unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Simpson was re-elected to the 65th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives with no opposition.[11] He raised $17,108 for his campaign.[12]
