Arthur Lukowski was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 37 of the Illinois House of Representatives.

Biography

Lukowski is a long-time Illinois resident.[1] He is a small business owner and has been the President and CEO of Oil Express since 2009.[2] Lukowski is a member of the National Rifle Association and the Illinois State Rifle Association.[3]

Additionally, Lukowski has served as president of the Chicago Family Business Council and as a commissioner for the Greater Southwest Developmental Corporation in Chicago.[3]

Elections for the office of Illinois House of Representatives will take place in 2014. A primary election took place March 18, 2014. The general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Nichole Serbin defeated August (O'Neill) Deuser in the Democratic primary, while Margo McDermed defeated Gayla Smith and Arthur Lukowski in the Republican primary. Serbin, McDermed and Jonathan Parker (L) will face off in the general election.[4][5][6]
