B.L. Shaw (b. September 6, 1963) is a former Republican member of the Louisiana State Senate. He represented District 37 from 2000 to 2012. He previously served in the Louisiana State House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003 and was on the Caddo Parish School Board from 1987 to 1994.

Shaw earned his B.S. and M.S. in Education from Northwestern State University. He went on to receive his EdD from Louisiana State University.

Shaw served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1956. He worked as Teacher/Supervisor from 1956 to 1986. He then worked as Principal from 1970 to 1986.
