According to Ballotpedia's Tuesday Count for February 16, 69 ballot measures are certified for the 2010 ballot.
The long-discussed Arizona Sales Tax Increase Proposal has now been certified for the May 18 statewide ballot, while in Ohio, the legislature acted to place the Third Frontier Bond Renewal on the May 4 ballot.
Signatures have been filed and are pending certification on the:
- Alaska Parental Notification Initiative
- California Marijuana Legalization Initiative
- Colorado Fetal Personhood Amendment
- Maine Casino Initiative
- Ohio Slots Referendum
130,000 signatures were also filed on a Voter ID in Mississippi Initiative which, if it qualifies, will not go on the 2010 ballot but on the 2011 or 2012 ballot.
Supporters of reforming California's Constitution through a constitutional convention were disappointed to learn on Friday that Repair California had pulled the plug on a pair of initiatives geared toward calling a constitutional revision convention.
The next big petition drive deadline is in South Dakota on April 6.
