This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $8.48 million in order to help pay technology and facility upgrades including roof and boiler upgrades in the district. Since it was approved, the bond will raise current tax rate by 3 mills for the life of the bond repayment.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall Bangor Public Schools, Van Buren County, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Eight Million Four Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($8,480,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefore, for the purpose of: partially remodeling, furnishing and refurnishing, equipping and re-equipping school facilities; acquiring, installing and equipping technology for school facilities; constructing, equipping, developing and improving athletic facilities; and developing and improving sites?[3][4]
