Bear Valley Community Services District parcel tax, Measure F (November 2010)
Measure F proposed a one-time parcel tax of $140 on each parcel of land in the Bear Valley CSD. The money would have been used to replace non-lockable mailboxes with lockable mailboxes.
Bear Valley CSD, established in 1970, is the local government for Bear Valley Springs, supplying police protection, fresh water, road maintenance, wastewater treatment, and solid waste disposal to residents of the district.

| Measure F: To maintain public safety, shall the Bear Valley Community Services District replace the existing nonlockable mailboxes with lockable mailboxes (cluster mail box units) by levying a one-time special tax of $140 on each parcel of land and providing a comprehensive audit to ensure proper use of the tax revenue. The tax will be levied through a one-time property tax on each privately
owned parcel within the district.
