HARTFORD, Connecticut: With no major party opponent poised to challenge him in November as of Monday, September 13, 2010, the day before the primary election, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden may have officially secured a second term in office.[1] Despite assures from the Delaware Republican Party's Office earlier this year that every office would be contested, an opponent to Democratic incumbent Biden has failed to materialize. The News Journal, a local newspaper, contends that Independent Party candidate Doug Campbell will seek to face Biden in two months, but in order to do so he will have to see a sizable write-in campaign in tomorrow's primary.[2]
