The question on the ballot:
|| Shall Benona Township, Oceana County, Michigan impose an increase of up to 0.25 mills (twenty-five cents per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for four (4) years, 2012 through 2015 inclusive, for the purpose of providing library services for Shelby Area District Library, which 0.25-mills increase will raise an estimated $35,000.00 in the first year the millage is levied?
