Bob Lane was a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 158th District from 1981-2011. He did not seek re-election in 2010.

Lane is a farmer, owner of U-Save Auto Rental, and served in the United States Georgia National Guard.

He is a member of the Advisory Board of Eagle Bank and Trust, Statesboro Rotary Club, and Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.[1]
