Bonnie Parnell (b. June 22, 1946) was a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly. She represented the 40th District from 2004 to 2010. She previously served from 1999-2002. Parnell did not seek re-election in 2010 for personal reasons.[1]

Parnell received her Bachelor of Arts in History and her Master's Equivalence in Education Endorsement from Long Beach State University. She works as a public policy consultant and has worked as a teacher. She has two children: Charley and Andy.

On November 4, 2008, Parnell won re-election to the District 40 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating opponents Cheryl Lau and John Wagner.[2]
