Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

This proposal does not seek a new millage. The electors previously approved 1 mill for the years 2009 through 2013, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for operating the township transfer station, including renting or purchasing the property on which the transfer station is located. This proposal seeks to amend the purpose of this previously approved millage to include authority to improve Addis Road from the Transfer station to US 131.

Shall the purpose of the perviously approved 1 mill transfer station millage, which authorized taxes to be levied for the purpose of providing funds for operating the township transfer station, including renting or purchasing the property on which the transfer station is located, be amended to authorize taxes to be levied for the following purposes: "To provide funds for operating the township transfer station, including renting or purchasing the property on which the transfer station is located, and to provide funds to improve Addis Road from the transfer station to US 131?"
