Brian Levine was a 2013 Republican candidate for District 17 of the New Jersey State Senate.[1]

In 2009, Levine attempted to challenge former New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine for his seat, but was forced to drop his bid for nomination after failing to collect enough signatures to get onto the ballot.[2]


Levin received a B.S. in Economics from Rutgers University. He later received a M.B.A from Rutgers Graduate School of Business. Levin has been the mayor of Franklin Township, New Jersey since 2003.

Levine ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey State Senate District 17. Levine was unopposed in the June 4 Republican primary. He was defeated by incumbent Bob Smith (D) in the general election, which took place on November 5, 2013.[3][4][5][6]
