Five Brooklyn City Charter Amendment measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Brooklyn which is in Cuyahoga County.

All five measures were approved

There were five charter amendment measures on the ballot, the first measure sought to allow the city council president to appoint three members to different committees, the second sought to incoporate the Building Department into the charter. The third sought to make it so that the Finance Director perform the roles of the clerk and secretaries, the fourth sought to further define the duties of the building department.[1]

The question on the ballot:

Shall Article III, Section 6, title "Organization," of the Charter of the City of Brooklyn be amended to clarify and grant the President of City Council the authority to appoint three (3) members of Council to the Finance Committee, Public Safety and Environmental Committee and Public Works Committee?[2]
