There was a Buena Vista Sales Tax Increase measure on the April 6 ballot in Chaffee County for voters in the city of Buena Vista.

This measure sought to increase the city sales tax by .5 percent and will be used for various capital improvement projects in the city. Surveys showed that citizens were in favor but no specific projects were named.[2]

Current Statewide

A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[3]
