Burlingame Elementary School District parcel tax, Measure E (November 2011)
The approval of Measure E means that a parcel tax of $76 per parcel per year will be levied for four (4) years. This would result in $2.35 million over the four years of the proposed tax, or about $589,000 a year.
Voters in the district approved Measure B, a $180/year parcel tax, in March 2010. That tax is set to last for ten years.
As of late October, $55,713 has been contributed to the campaign committee seeking a "yes" vote on Measure E.
