Burrel Charles Farnsley was a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate in the 2014 elections in Kentucky.[1][2] He was defeated by Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes in the Democratic primary on May 20, 2014.[3]

He was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Kentucky.

Farnsley ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Kentucky's 3rd District.[4] Farnsley was defeated by incumbent John Yarmuth in the Democratic primary.[5] The primary elections were held on May 22, 2012.[6]
