A Calipatria Unified School District school bonds ballot proposition, Measure I was on the June 8, 2010 ballot for voters in the Calipatria Unified School District in Imperial County, where it was defeated.

Measure I would have authorized a $25 million bond.[1]

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.

The question on the ballot:

To acquire, construct, modernize and improve classrooms and support facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, classrooms and play areas, high school vocational classrooms and support facilities, solar utility improvements, to reduce annual costs and increase student access to modern technology, shall the Calipatria Unified School District be authorized to issue up to $25,000,000 in bonds at legal interest rates, with an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee, annual audits, and no money for salaries?[2]
