The Washington Land Ownership by Canadians Amendment, also known as Senate Joint Resolution 9, was on the November 7, 1950 ballot in Washington as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure permitted ownership of land by Canadians who are citizens of provinces wherein citizens of Washington can own land. The measure amended Section 33 of Article I of the Washington Constitution.
