Carlos Gonzalez (b. November 5, 1958) is a 2014 Republican candidate for Hillsborough 45 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

He is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 17 from 2010 to 2012.

Biography

Gonzalez earned his M.S. from the University of New Hampshire in 1987 and his B.A. from Catholic University, Santiago-Dominican Republic in 1981. His professional experience includes the following; Mortgage business associate at Signature Mortgage and New England Regional Mortgage; adjunct faculty and professor at Franklin Pierce College; business manager at Advance America; mortgage business associate at Renaissance Mortgage; coordinator of diversity at Franklin Pierce College; project director at Plymouth State College; United States aide at the United States Embassy, Dominican Republic; technical secretariat of presidency, Dominican Republic.

Elections for the office of New Hampshire House of Representatives will consist of a primary election on September 9, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Jane Beaulieu and Sean M. Burns are unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jerry Bergevin will face Albert Evarts and Carlos Gonzalez in the Republican primary.[1]

Gonzalez ran for re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Hillsborough 19. Gonzalez advanced past the September 11 primary and was defeated in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
