Carlos Gutierrez is a judge on the Superior Court of Solano County in California. He was appointed by Democratic Governor Jerry Brown on June 28, 2016, to succeed Judge Ramona Joyce Garrett. Although the judicial position is nonpartisan, Gutierrez is a Democrat.[1]
Biography
Gutierrez received a bachelor's degree from California State University, Sacramento and a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Gutierrez was an attorney in private practice at Bernheim, Gutierrez and McCready from 1994 until his judicial appointment in 2016.[1]
