Carol Byrd

Carol Byrd was a Republican candidate for District 11 of the Maryland House of Delegates. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Byrd ran against William Badore, Gregory Prush, Michael Collins (Maryland), Alberto Halphen and Steven Smith in the September 14 primary. In the general election, the three winners faced the three winners of the Democratic primary - Jon Cardin (incumbent), Dan Morhaim (incumbent) and Dana Stein (incumbent). Brandon Brooks ran in the general election as a Libertarian candidate.

Byrd lost in the general election on November 2, 2010, coming in fifth. All three seats in the district were up for election.[1]
