Chad Condit was a 2012 Independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 10th Congressional District of California.


Condit was born July 18, 1967, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.[1]

Condit joined the United States Navy 1991 and was honorably discharged in 1995.[1] He served as a Chief of Staff in the California State Assembly in 1997, as an assistant to the California Governor in 1999, and has served as a Senior Legislative Assistant for the California State Assembly since 2011.

Condit ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 10th District. He was defeated in the open primary on June 5, 2012.[3][4]


Condit and his wife, Helen Filice Condit, and have 3 boys.[1]
