Charles W. Cooper was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 75 of the Tennessee House of Representatives.[1]

Biography

A Camden, Tennessee native, Cooper graduated from Camden Central High School in 1990.[2]

From 1992 through 2000, Cooper served in the United States Army in the Quertermaster Corps.[2]

Currently, Cooper works in law enforcement. He is also an ordained minister.[2]

I am concerned about the unbalanced influence and power that big corporations have in our lives and in our government. I want to represent THE PEOPLE of the 75th District. I am Pro Life and Pro 2nd Amendment.[3]

Elections for 99 seats in the Tennessee House of Representatives will take place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 7, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Charles Cooper was defeated by Randy Patton in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Tim Wirgau was unopposed in the Republican primary. James Hart is running as an Independent candidate. Patton, Wirgau and Hart will face off in the general election.[4][1]
