Charlie Hardy was a 2014 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Wyoming.[1] Hardy defeated Al Hamburg, Rex Wilde and William Bryk in the Democratic primary.[2] Charlie Hardy lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Biography

Hardy earned a bachelor's in philosophy and an master's in religious education from St. Thomas Seminary in Denver, Colorado. He also earned a bachelor of sacred theology from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and an M.A. in educational administration from the University of Wyoming, Laramie.

Hardy has worked as a priest, superintendent of Catholic Schools in Wyoming, executive director of the Diocesan Pastoral Council and as an inspector of personnel on tankers and cargo ships. He is also a writer, speaker and substitute teacher.[3]
