Chris Molendorp (b. July 5, 1969) is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 56. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008.


Molendorp earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. His professional experience includes working as an owner of a Farmers Insurance agency, Payroll and Human Resource Provider for Paychex, Accountant Manager for Emery Worldwide Consolidated Freightways, and Staff Member for Missouri State Treasurer Wendell Bailey.[1]

Molendorp won re-election in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 56. Molendorp ran unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and defeated Patty Johnson (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
