Christopher Shepard was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 65 of the Florida House of Representatives.

Shepard is a St. Petersburg College student studying accounting.[1] He currently works as a Sam's Club customer service representative. Shepard is also a veteran, having served previously in the Iraq War.[1]

Shepard ran in the 2012 election for Florida House of Representatives District 67. Shepard was defeated by incumbent Ed Hooper in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012.[2]

Shepard decided to run for the District 67 seat after being misinformed that incumbent Ed Hooper would be termed out by term limits. After learning of the misinformation, he decided to stay in the race.[1]
