Chuck Coyne is an incumbent member of and was candidate for an at-large seat on the Bonita Unified School District Board of Education that won a canceled election on November 5, 2013.

Biography

Charles A. "Chuck" Coyne is the owner of Coyne Publishing in San Dimas. Coyne is a 1976 graduate of California State University, Fullerton and has lived in San Dimas since 1992. He is married to his wife Janette and the couple have a daughter who has graduated from San Dimas High School.[1][2]

San Dimas outperforms the rest of California when measured on the basis of median household income, percentage of residents living below the poverty level, percentage of residents over the age of 25 with a high school diploma, and percentage of residents over the age of 25 with a Bachelor's degree. The median household income in San Dimas was $74,610 compared to $61,632 for the state of California. 31.9% of San Dimas residents aged 25 years and older attained a bachelor's degree compared to 30.2% in California. The US Census also showed the poverty rate in Azusa was 6.7% compared to 14.4% for the entire state. The US Census also found that 76.2% of Azusa residents aged 25 years and older attained a high school degree compared to a 92.3% in California.[5]
