There were two City of Cottage Grove Commissioner Questions on the March 9 ballot in Lane County for voters in the city of Cottage Grove.

Both measures were defeated

The first measure asked voters if the wanted the type III planning commission's decisions to be recommendations only. This would have meant that if someone wanted a land use agreement changed, there would have to have been a public hearing and then a vote rather than the commission deciding the issue.[1]

  • YES 428 (36.24%)
  • NO 753 (63.76%)Defeatedd

The second measure asked voters if the planning commission or a councilor should be held to a vote to be rescued from member bias at a meeting vote. The measure would have amended the municipal code so that a vote could be ensured to correct non bias in a meeting vote.[2]

  • YES 326 (27.42%)
  • NO 863 (72.58%)Defeatedd[3]
