A City of Maywood Alternate Los Angeles Unified School District School Site Selection, Measure SC ballot question was on the November 3, 2009 ballot for voters in the City of Maywood in Los Angeles County, where it was approved.

Measure SC gave the voters in the City of Maywood the opportunity to urge the Los Angeles Unified School District to "fully and adequately investigate the selection of other sites for the construction of the new South Region No. 8 High School, including alternative sites that were previously recommended by the City of Maywood and the community."

Measure SC was an advisory vote. The outcome of the election on Measure SC did not oblige any governmental entity to change or adopt any particular outcome.

Measure SC was on the same ballot as a related advisory-only measure, Measure MS. Unlike Measure SC, Measure MS was handily defeated. Measure MS was about whether the Los Angeles Unified School District should acquire "by negotiated sale or eminent domain" a constellation of properties in the City of Maywood including "10 single family parcels, 29 multi-family parcels, 7 commercial parcels and 1 vacant parcel within a site bounded by Slauson Avenue to the south, 57th Avenue to the north, King Avenue to the west and Mayflower Avenue to the east for the construction of the new South Region No. 8 High School."
