A City of Rancho Cordova Utility Users Tax, Measure B

for voters in the City of Rancho Cordova in Sacramento County
, where it was defeated.
If Measure B had been approved, it would have authorized the City of Rancho Cordova to continue its existing 2.5% utility user tax and to extend the tax to cover additional types of telecommunication activities.
A 2/3rds supermajority vote was required for approval because the tax was designated as a special tax that could only be used for certain purposes by the city when they drew up the details of Measure B.
