City of Riverside Electronic Bids for Public Works Contracts, Measure J (June 2012)
If Measure J had been approved, it would have amended the City of Riverside's City Charter to "provide that bids for public works contracts be advertised by electronic means instead of in the newspaper."
A simple majority was required for approval.
- These final results are from the Riverside County elections office.
The editorial board of the Press Enterprise opposed Measure J. They wrote, "No. Online-only niche advertising for bids on public works projects would save money by limiting public knowledge of government business."
