A Clawson City Library Levy Increase measure was on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the city of Clawson which is in Oakland County.

The question on the ballot:

Shall the limitation on taxes which may be imposed each year for library purposes upon taxable property in the City of Clawson, County of Oakland, Michigan, be increased in an amount not to exceed 0.3333 of a mill ($0.3333 per $1,000 of taxable value) on the taxable value of all taxable property in the City of Clawson beginning with the July 1, 2011, levy, in perpetuity, in order to provide library funds for the City’s public library currently known as the Blair Memorial Library? If approved and levied in its entirety, this millage would raise an estimated additional amount of $109,000 for the Library in 2011.[3]
