Clinton County R-III School District Property Tax Levy Question (August 2013)
This measure authorized the Clinton County R-III School District to increase its property tax levy ceiling by $0.30 per $100 of assessed valuation. The estimated tax increase will raise the tax rate from $3.9134 to $4.2134 per $100 of assessed valuation. The increased revenue was designed to be used for funding district salaries in order to attract and retain quality staff members.

If this question is approved, the operating tax levy ceiling of the District is estimated to increase from $3.9134 to $4.2134 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation.
