The Colorado Elected State Board of Education Amendment, also known as Measure 2, was on the November 4, 1930 ballot in Colorado as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have provided for the election of a State Board of Education and for the appointment of a Commissioner of Education in lieu of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.[1]
