The Colorado Gambling on Horse and Animal Races Amendment, also known as Measure 2, was on the November 2, 1948 ballot in Colorado as a legislatively-referred state statute, where it was approved. The measure provided for authorization, regulation and licensing of horse and other animal racing with parimutuel gambling.[1]
