Two down ballot state executive positions are up for election in the state of Connecticut in 2014. The two down ballot offices on the ballot in 2014 are the Connecticut Treasurer and the Connecticut Comptroller. The general election takes place November 4, 2014.

Incumbents Denise L. Nappier (D) and Kevin Lembo (D) are seeking re-election to the treasurer and comptroller offices, respectively. They both face Republican opponents and Green Party candidate Rolf Maurer is the third candidate in the comptroller race.

Connecticut is one of 21 states with a mixed primary system. Though parties decide who may vote in their primary election, the primary is considered closed as neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party allow any voter but those registered with their party to vote.[1]
