Connecticut senate nomination race is heating up
HARTFORD, Connecticut: Five hopeful Republican candidates are hoping to get a nomination for the United States Senate, and most of them are spending plenty of money to do so. Senator Christopher J. Dodd is hoping to keep his seat when the next elections roll around, but the GOP feel he is the most vulnerable. Linda McMahon, former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO, gave her campaign $3.5 million and stated that she is willing to spend up to $50 million if she was to face Dodd.
Whichever candidate is chosen, all five have been spending time talking and swaying the 1,600 delegates and super delegates who will nominate their choice during the May convention.
