Connie Moran was a 2011 Democratic candidate for Mississippi Treasurer. She lost in the November 8 general election to Lynn Fitch. She has served as Mayor of Ocean Springs since 2005.

Biography

Moran previously served as president of Moran Consultants, spent three years as Director of Jackson County Economic Development and was Managing Director of the State of Mississippi European Office in Frankfurt, Germany.[1]

Moran did not face opposition in the August 2 primary. She finished second in the November 8 general election. She fell to Republican Lynn Fitch but defeated Reform Party candidate Shawn O'Hara.
