- NO 2,975 (60.34%)
This measure sought to allow the school district to go over its maintenance and operational budget by 8 percent for a further six years in order to help pay for general operations of the school facilities. An increased levy would have also been added to local property taxes, $1.13 per $100 of assessed property value. The school district was urging a 'Yes' vote because they needed to money to help pay for opertational costs which are not covered with bond money as well as maintaining class sizes and after school programs.
